Deep Massage Techniques with Functional Anatomy: Part 1

presented by Mel Cash

Accreditation Check:
This course is the first of a two part series that provides the basic set of skill and knowledge needed to safely and effectively treat musculoskeletal injuries with soft tissue therapy. It teaches the therapist to consider the common underlying lifestyle and musculoskeletal factors that can contribute to injuries. It describes how to identify the symptoms of acute conditions and determine when an injury is safe to treat with soft tissue techniques. On a practical level it provides a deeper understanding of the function of specific muscles and combines this with deep massage techniques to treat them.
